The other change is the decision to choose 20 Roadies instead of the usual 13. In order to make it to the show, contenders will have to undergo and pass auditions in any of the six cities – Kolkata (17th September), Bangalore (21st September), Ahmedabad (24th September), Chandigarh (28th September), Delhi (3rd October) and Mumbai (12th October). General Manager, MTV India Ashish Patil says, “No fake judges, no phony contestants, no sham melodrama… nothing but hard core reality on India’s biggest, longest running youth cult series MTV Hero Honda Roadies: Hell down under! The 6th edition will explode like a hand grenade in your palms as we take the action to Australia with double the twists, so buckle up.” Raghu Ram, Executive Producer MTV said, “Those who think they have figured out Roadies, the auditions or the journey are in for the shock of the lives. Getting selected or surviving the auditions itself is going to be twice as tough with Rajiv.”
