Ragini Nandwani who catapulted to success essaying the role of Lovely in Zee TV’s Mrs. Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein, produced by Rashmi Sharma Productions is presently busy promoting her debut film, Dehradun Diary. She has been attending various Dandiya Fests with her co-stars to promote her movie. Having taken a step forward from television to Bollywood, Ragini though misses her Kaushik family and remembers the good old days. Talking about it, Ragini says, “Well, we were like one big family and used to have fun on the sets. I had a wonderful journey in television playing Lovely. Yes, it is true that I am busy with the promotions of my movie right now, but I miss going to the sets of my show. I miss the cast and the entire unit.” Ask her about the reason for quitting Mrs. Kaushik, and she says, “The promotion of my film is not the sole reason for me to quit the show. I do not want to talk about the reasons now. All I can say is that I had a very smooth exit from the project; though the channel and production house tried to convince me to stay till the end but later they understood my priorities and were very supportive.” Talking about her last day on the sets of her Zee show, Ragini states, “Not all in the cast were shooting when I gave my last shot. So I could not bid good bye to all of them personally. I have been getting calls from my co-actors, and I have told them that I will drop in at the sets whenever I am free. We plan to have a get-together this weekend.” Tell her that after an extensive search the replacement for Lovely has been found in Vindhya Tiwari and the actress states, “Yes, I know that many known and semi-known faces were auditioned to play Lovely. I was also eager to know who would play the role of Lovely from now. I got to know that Vindhya has been selected. I wish her all the very best. I understand that this is a big responsibility to step into the shoes of Lovely, after one and half years. Though I do not know Vindhya, I have watched few episodes of Maryada. I am sure she will do well to keep the audience happy.” Ragini, we wish you all the very best for your future.
