MUMBAI: YouTubers Sagar Thakur, also known as Maxtern, and Elvish Yadav are once again friends. Their smiling photo appeared on social media a few days after the latter accused the Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner of threatening to murder him. Rahul Vaidya, a singer and previous Bigg Boss contestant, has now responded to their altercation. He advised them to keep the conflict between them quiet and to avoid posting hurtful things on social media.

Rahul stated in a recent interview with a popular news portal, “I would just say one thing – Bigg Boss ki casting hone wali hai. Agar ladna hai toh aapas mein lado na, sabke saamne kyu ladte hai (I would just say one thing – the casting for Bigg Boss is about to happen. If you have to fight, why not do it amongst yourselves, why fight in front of everyone?).”

He added, “Apne mien baatein karo, lado jo karna hai karo, but yeh social media par, YouTube par faila rahe ho. (Discuss amongst yourselves, fight if you have to, but why spread it all over social media and YouTube?). Social media is not for threatening people. YouTube is to make content. My only question to both of them is – if you are fighting among yourselves, why are you showing it publicly to the world?” Rahul further added, “Whatsapp par gaali do ek doosre ko (if you desire to abuse each other then do it on WhatsApp). Social media platforms are not made for abuse and violence.”

Maxtern, also known as Sagar Thakur, recently claimed that Elvish Yadav had threatened him.“Bhaisaab, jaan se maarne ki dhamki de gaye hain. Main toh akela tha. Elvish bhai saath mein bahut saare bande laaye the. Toh iske main full video subah daaltu hu acche se. Sab dekhna kya hua. Hamare pass bhi recording hai. Main toh theek hu bas yahan (lip) par chot aaye hai. Yeh bhi 8 logo se ladne ke baad aaye hai,” he claimed in a video statement. Later, Sagar also posted a video of Elvish brutally assaulting, kicking, and slapping him.

Thakur also filed an FIR against Yadav and claimed “he tried to break my spine so that I will become physically disabled.”

Afterwards, Elvish Yadav released a video statement explaining the "other side of the story." According to Elvish, the incident was "pre-planned" because Sagar, the complainant, had hidden cameras and microphones at the meeting site. He added that Thakur had been harassing him for the past eight months by posting negative remarks about him. In addition, Elvish claimed that Thakur's threats to burn him and his family alive caused them to argue angrily.
