MUMBAI: Raja Chaudhary, who was married to television actress Shweta Tiwari from 1998 to 2007, has once again found himself in the spotlight after making bold and controversial claims about his former wife’s alleged past relationship with her Kasautii Zindagii Kay co-star, Cezanne Khan.

The former couple, who share a daughter actor and social media personality Palak Tiwari parted ways after a tumultuous marriage marked by allegations of domestic abuse. Shweta filed for divorce in 2007, citing domestic violence and physical assault, and the legal separation was finalised in 2012.

In a recent interview, Raja Chaudhary opened up about his troubled marriage and made startling allegations regarding Shweta’s off-screen relationship during the early 2000s.

“Our divorce should have happened in 2003, not 2012,” Raja said. “Once, I had gone to her shoot to collect some documents from the car and happened to see her arriving with Cezanne Khan and his driver. The shoot had already begun, but they hadn’t yet reached the set by then.”

He further claimed that whenever he attempted to question Shweta about her alleged involvement with Cezanne, she would deflect by accusing him of alcoholism. “She would tell me that I’m drunk and now I’ll start shouting and hitting her, so I never brought it up again,” he added.

Raja’s remarks have since gone viral on social media, sparking widespread debate and reigniting conversations about the couple’s troubled past. While his claims have garnered significant attention online, there has been no response or official statement from Shweta Tiwari or her representatives so far.
