It will come as a rather sweet surprise to all you Rashami Desai fans as the lovely actress has been roped in to play one of the leads on Colors' next outing, Shashi Sumeet Mittal's project, 'Sangharsh', a news portal has revealed.
According to the portal, she will be seen sharing screen space with Sidharth Shukla and Jasmin Bhasin.
The show is said to be a small screen adaptation of Salman Khan- Rani Mukerji -Preity Zinta- starrer Chori Chori Chupke Chupke, a controversial fare on surrogacy.
While Sidharth was last seen in Balika Vadhu, Jasmin has been a part of Tashan-E-Ishq, and Rashami gave it her all in Adhuri Kahaani Humari.
It is further being said that Rashami was chosen from a bunch of talented actresses, like Chhavi Pandey, Tinaa Dattaa, Aishwarya Sakhuja, Kritika Kamra, Sanjeeda Sheikh and Shraddha Arya, who were short-listed for the role. But it was Rashami who bagged the role, the portal stated.
Let’s hope that the new show redefines our TV-viewing. Say what, fans?
