MUMBAI: Daily soap 'Saath Nibhaana Saathiya' became a topic of discussion after a hilarious rap mashup video by music producer Yashraj Mukhate went viral.

The show Saath Nibhana Saathiya, produced by Rashmi Sharma, may have gone off television in 2017, it is still ruling the internet through innumerable memes and parodies made on it.

And now what if we tell you that the show is returning with season two.

Well, according to our sources, renowned producer Rashmi Sharma is most likely bringing the second season of Saath Nibhana Saathiya.

Well, the surprise doesn’t end here!

We also hear that actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee, who had replaced Giaa Manek as Gopi Bahu, has apparently shot a teaser video which Star Plus plans to release in coming days.

Our sources further inform that Devoleena is currently in talks to be part of the show for initial few episodes. However, you never know if the actress is retained as the permanent female protagonist.

We tried reaching out Devoleena but she remained unavailable for a comment.

Saath Nibhaana Saathiya featured Mohammad Nazim as the male lead and actors namely Rupal Patel and Rucha Hasabnis gained immense popularity with their character portrayal as Kokilaben and Rashi Ben respectively.
