MUMBAI: Directed by the visionary Nitesh Tiwari and backed by producer Namit Malhotra, the mythological magnum opus promises a cinematic experience like no other. While the project features who's who from Bollywood and South Cinema, it will also have a couple of popular television actors. Ravi Dubey will be seen playing the character of Laxman in the movie, while Indira Krishnan will be seen playing Lord Rama's mother Kaushalya.
Ravi Dubey hasn't spoken much about Ramayana and people can't wait for him to share his experience and expertise on playing the character of Laxman along with knowing how it was to shoot for a big screen project like Ramayana alongside the talented Ranbir Kapoor.

Ravi took to social media and shared a picture with the Captain of the ship, Director Nitesh Tiwari and Ranbir Kapoor. Written in the devanagari script, Ravi's caption of the picture was to praise Lord Rama. He wrote, "Dhairya Dhani hai, mahagunni hai, vishv vijay hai Ram."

Earlier in the day, we also reported that actress Surabhi Das who was a part of TV shows like NIma Denzongpa and Pandya Store will also be a part of Ramayana.
