Tall and handsome actor Ravi Shaw, who is currently wooing the audience with his performance in Zee Bangla's Radha, says that he was confident that he will be able to portray his character in the said daily well. 

“I was getting offers for serials but none attracted me that much. I gave my nod to Radha because it seemed to be an offbeat story to me. It’s not a typical love story. I also felt that I will be able to do justice to my character,” Ravi said confidently. 

However, the actor, who earlier worked as a model for many big houses of Kolkata, Mumbai and Delhi, admitted that speaking Bengali fluently was a challenge for him. 

He quipped, “I am a non-Bengali so the challenging part was to deliver my dialogues with the right feeling. Although I know Bengali but when it came to speaking the language fluently like the Bengalis I would say, it was a bit challenging.” 

“I guess I have managed so far and I hope that over time, my fluency level will improve more,” signed off the actor.
