‘Girl in the City’ to come back with season 3
Popular youth web series, Girl In the City, starring Mithila Palkar Rajat Barmecha and Swati Vatssa in lead roles, is all set to go on air with its third season.
The web series revolves around a girl named Meera, essayed by Mithila Palkar. The show is about a girl from a humble family who, like millions of others, has come to Mumbai, to fulfill her dreams. A combination of love, friendship, ambition, it has gained a lot of hearts and appreciation with the first and second season and Season 3 is going to be even more interesting.

Ravi Dubey’s karaoke debut

Karan Kundra gets roasted; takes sportingly
It’s quite normal for Youtubers to roast TV shows, music videos or movies but sometimes roasting lands them up in deep trouble. One show which recently got roasted is MTV Love School Season 3. One YouTuber roasted the concept of MTV Love School Season 3 and its anchors--Karan Kundra and his love interest Anusha Dandekar.
But Karan took the video sportingly. In a video, shared by Karan, he can be seen laughing his heart out seeing the YouTuber roasting the show and them.

Bhootu to go off air on 15 June
Zee TV’s yet another show to go of air. Bhootu is all set to go off air on 15 June. The story of the show revolves around the ghost of a seven-year-old girl, Pihu, who attempts to shield her mother, Anandita, from all harm with the help of her friend and god-child Krishna.
The show was rebooted in Hindi for Zee TV and aired in August 2017. The show stars Arshiya Mukherjee, Sana Amin Sheikh, Kinshuk Mahajan and Akanksha Chamola and Anjali Priya.
Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai completes 200 episodes
Sony TV’s popular daily soap Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai, which stars Randeep Rai and Ashi Singh in lead roles, completed airing 200 episodes. The story of the show chronicles 1990s love story between Naina Agarwal (Ashi Singh) and Sameer Maheshwari (Randeep Rai). The show explores the magic of ‘first love’.

Actor Gurpreet Singh has recently turned a vegetarian. He says, “Being a vegetarian makes me feel healthier and eating vegetarian food has made me happier as I feel lighter.”
Gurpreet, who was last seen in Sony TV’s Porus as Kingh Ambhi opposite Rati Pandey, further says, “Vegetarian food usually have low cholesterol which means less risk of having a stroke or being obese. There is a low chance of developing kidney stones as well.”
There were a bunch of other reasons that made Gurpreet turn into a vegetarian. He shares, “I pray to Lord Hanuman and I think I should be pure vegetarian because of that. Vegetarian food has all the nutrients which are required for good health. We eat non-veg for protein and I like paneer as a substitute.”

KBC registrations kick-start with a record milestone of 27.2 lakh entries
Kaun Banega Crorepati, hosted by Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachan, has kick-started its registrations for the 10th season of show that will air on Sony TV at 8:30 pm, just before the launch of Zindagi Ke Crossroads, the show went on to achieve a milestone. For the very first time, the show clocked in maximum participation over a single question – 27.2 lakh entries from aspirants across the country.
For the first time in the history of Kaun Banega Crorepati, the registration has seen a mass hysteria of this volume. While the opportunity to sit on the hot seat, the show is synonymous with changing the fate of people who aren’t afraid to use their power of knowledge.
Kaun Banega Crorepati is a show that redefined the family game show genre on Indian Television and is awaited with bated breath by the audience each season. Registrations for this season are open till 22 June wherein at 8:30 pm a question will be released by Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. The mode of registration is to correctly answer these questions via SMS, IVRS or through Sony LIV.
