Real life ACP, Sagar Salunke to feature in Life OK's Savdhan India

Sagar Salunke, the dutiful Assistant Commissioner of Police from the Santacruz Police Station, Mumbai has gained quite a lot of name and fame for his meaty roles in movies like Ganga Jamuna Saraswati, Jaisi Karni Waisi Bharni, Zindagi Ek Jua, to the recent ones like Garv, King Sahib the Great. A life member of CINTAA, the actor cum inspector in real life acted in these films while on service. Very recently, Sagar has taken up his voluntary retirement, and now aims for a second innings in television and films. He will now be seen in Balaji Telefilms’ Savdhan India on Life OK. Talking about his career, Sagar tells Tellychakkar.com, “While I was in service at the Santacruz Police Station, I took special permission to shoot for B R Chopra’s Mahabharat wherein I played the role of Balram. This was my first stint as an actor, and then went on to have an amazing journey. Now that I have taken my voluntary retirement, I want to concentrate more on acting. I recently shot for a Bhojpuri film too. As an actor, I can express all kinds of human emotions. Work is passion for me, and I am open to do any kind of role.” He will soon start for an episodic of Savdhan India, which will be the story about a housing society wherein three people plan and get into the house on rent. The modus operandi is to have a systematic approach and note who live in the house, and go about stealing from the houses. Sagar Salunke will play the ACP in this story who will crack this crime and nab the criminals. The actor accepted that he will soon be shooting for the show. “Yes, I have recently received a brief on my role, and I will start shooting for this story very soon.” We wish Sagar all the luck and success!!!
