Reel drama turns real on Balika Vadhu

The makers of Colors’ Balika Vadhu are all ready to provide their viewers high dose of drama on the TV screens. However, off-screen, a lot of drama in happening on the sets of this show. Reportedly, the show is moving towards naatha pratha according to which a man can marry another woman just to have a child from her; if his first wife fails to conceive. As going with the story line, Bharat (Sumit Malhan) married Phooli (Mamta Chaturya) just to get a child from her. But when Phooli gets to know about the same she revolts but she is asked to shut up with a tight slap from her husband Bharat. “Recently, the actors shot the scene. The first take was a long shot and happened really well; but the second shot was a close up, but the actors’ timing did not match, and Sumit accidently slapped Mamta for real.” We also hear that the actress was really annoyed with Sumit as she believed that he had slapped her on purpose. In fact, she even stopped talking to Sumit after the scene. It was only after she received some chocolates and an apology from Sumit that she agreed to talk to him again. Tellychakkar.com got in touch with Sumit who confirmed the incident: “It wasn’t a complete slap, in fact only four of my fingers touched her face. In fact, the main issue was that before we shot for the scene I had been joking about it. I was her that I will slap her soon. Unluckily, things went wrong in the scene and I slapped her for real, which wasn’t my intention at all. But since I was joking about it earlier, she thought I did it on purpose.” Sumit was relieved only after Mamta agreed to talk to him. “We work together so there shouldn’t be any kind of misunderstandings amongst us, hence I clarified things with Mamta. And since she is mature human being, she forgave me,” he reveals. All’s well that ends well!!!
