9X channel has asked Hats Off production house to extend Remote Control’s weekly telecast from half an hour to one hour. The time slot will be extended from July onwards. The show’s team is happy with the channel’s proposal and are geared up to work that much harder. The team is determined to take the show to a new level. “There is going to be more work and more demands but I am happy as it is for the good. The channel wanted our show to be a one hour weekly because they feel it is a different show.” Assumptions are being made that Remote Control is going to take the time slot of Tu Tu Main Main which airs after it every week. “I feel the channel is reprogramming and rescheduling shows, so Remote Control is not taking the time slot of any other show,” claims Aatish Kapadia The extension of time slot has given new hope to the entire team of the show. Of late, the show had not been doing that well. “If promoted well, the show would do very well,” believes Aatish Kapadia. Scheduling and promotion plays an extremely important role in the success of any show. So let’s hope this change gives a new direction to the show.
