MUMBAI: Every show comes with an expiry date and it's now time to bid adieu to TV’s favourite and well-accepted fantasy-based show Aladdin-Naam Toh Suna Hoga. The show is produced by Peninsula Pictures starring Siddharth Nigam and Ashi Singh in the lead roles as Aladdin and Jasmine respectively.

TellyChakkar broke the news about Aladdin coming to an end and will soon say goodbye to its ardent fans.

According to our sources, Aladdin will air its last episode on 29 January and it will be replaced by JD Majethia’s upcoming show Wagle Ki Duniya which is based on the iconic Common Man character by cartoonist RK Laxman. The show ‘Wagle Ki Duniya’ on Doordarshan was very popular in the late eighties. This time Sumeet Raghavan will be seen in the role of Wagle.

Aladdin also featured actors namely Aamir Dalvi and Smita Bansal playing pivotal roles.

The news about Aladdin shutting shop has left fans disheartened. However it had a good run and would end on a beautiful note.

The cast of Aladdin will surely be missed and we wish luck to the team of Wagle Ki Duniya on their new beginning.
