Riddhi Dogra approached to play lead in desi Twilight

Riddhi Dogra , currently seen as Supriya in Laagi Tujhse Lagan will be exiting from the show soon, maybe only to appear in Balaji Telefilm’s supernatural thriller, inspired by the international Twilight. A source from the show says, “Riddhi was approached to play a pivotal role in the Indian version of Twilight which is yet to be titled. She auditioned for the lead role a few days back. It is a story about three sisters and Riddhi was asked to audition for all the three roles. There were lots of contestants of Splitsvilla who also auditioned for various characters. The first shooting schedule will take place out of Mumbai in next month and then it will continue here. The male lead of the show is yet to be finalised.” Dogra says, “The production house is yet to revert.” It is said that Dogra is keen about this project and if her dates don’t clash with any other project then she will surely give her nod to the production house. Dogra is also part of Seven, expected to wind up after completing 26 episodes. Recently, she had to opt out of Mr and Mrs Sharma Allahabadwale due to her date issue.
