Rohit Shetty Slams Amaal: “You Threaten to Leave Every Time —That’s You Taking the Show Lightly.”

Bigg Boss

MUMBAI: In this Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 19, Rohit Shetty picked up the simmering issue of “bias,” calling out both Amaal and Shehbaaz for repeatedly questioning the fairness of the show. He began by highlighting the irony that has taken over the narrative. “Outside, the audience says we’re biased towards Amaal, and inside, Amaal is the one saying Bigg Boss is biased. It’s funny,” Rohit remarked, setting the tone for a sharp confrontation.

A cutaway shot showed Gaurav echoing the same sentiment inside the house, saying, “Humare group ke logo ko nikala jaa raha hai,” reinforcing the belief that selective targeting was happening. Rohit immediately dismantled this narrative with straightforward logic.

Moving to Shehbaaz, he addressed the voting perception that many contestants were using as proof of bias. Rohit asked him directly, “Who has a bigger following — Mridul or you?” When Shehbaaz answered “Mridul,” Rohit pressed further: “Then tell me — if Colors, Endemol, Bigg Boss had to eliminate someone, who would they eliminate so that they don’t get backlash? You or Mridul?” Again, Shehbaaz replied, “Mridul,” leaving no room for the biased-elimination argument the housemates had been pushing all week.

Rohit then turned to Amaal, questioning his comments about the captaincy and the app room access. “If Shehbaaz had the options Gaurav had, he would’ve chosen captaincy, correct?” he asked. Amaal defended himself by saying captaincy wasn’t the problem — the issue was that Shehbaaz had “no access to the app room.” Rohit immediately cut through that reasoning: “Was that ever announced by Bigg Boss? Was it ever a rule?” The contradiction was exposed.

The discussion escalated when Rohit confronted Amaal about his repeated statements inside the house: “You keep saying, ‘Remove me from the show.’ Every now and then you make this statement. And outside this looks like we’re biased — humko kya padi?” Rohit reminded him of the reality outside the house too, pointing out that his followers had increased because of the show, yet he continued taking Bigg Boss for granted. Amaal apologized, but Rohit didn’t let him off easily. He told him plainly that he was wrong, and when Amaal tried to justify it as a “heat of the moment” reaction, Rohit countered, “If everything is heat of the moment, then Farhana can also get the same benefit of doubt — what she told you was also in the heat of the moment.”

Rohit then shifted back to Shehbaaz and addressed his constant claims of bias. “You were taking kasam to leave the show,” he reminded him. “Salman has literally texted me to remove you to open the door. Should we open the door for you?” The message was clear — no one was forcing him to stay, and crying “bias” couldn’t be used to justify every frustration.

He further questioned the captaincy issue, challenging Shehbaaz directly: “Bigg Boss would’ve been unfair if they called you to the app room first? That’s what you’re saying?” When Shehbaaz said that captaincy wasn’t the problem, Rohit fired back: “That was our problem — that you didn’t have a problem with it.”

The segment closed with Rohit calling out not just Amaal and Shehbaaz, but the entire house for using “bias” as an excuse whenever it suited them, making it clear that the narratives they were creating inside the house did not match the truth outside.
