Rohit Sonar evicted in VOI 2

In tonight’s elimination episode of, Voice of India , it is Rohit Sonar who bids goodbye to the show. The judges felt let down and said that another promising singer was ousted from the show. The episode will also mark the comeback of the top five contestants of last season of, VOI namely Harshit Saxena, Toshi Sabri, Sumitra, Irfan and Priyani Vani who will be pitted against the five finalists of the show. Fortune seemed to be on Ravi’s side as he bagged the opportunity to be mentored by judge, Ismail Darbar but was reminded by the guru that he is faced with stiff competition by a talented singer from the first season, Harshit Saxena. However, the challenge turned beneficial for Ravi as the performance with Harshit brought out the best in him. Emulating the judges and host Shaan, Vipul brought relief to everyone’s tensed nerves. Not to be left far behind, Toshi too mimicked Ismail Darbar to which Ismail responded, “Yeh to Bhindi Bazaar ka Ismail Darbar Hai”. As a tribute to Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan on the occasion of his birthday, Toshi dedicated Afreen Afreen. Saptaparna and Priyani impressed everyone with their performance on Chalka re chalka re. Rithisha and Irfan perform on Tere bina Beedi and Tere bin kahin with Sumitra and his renditions had judge Sukhwinder jump out of his chair and join them on stage.
