A romantic game show on Star One

Hey no this is not the film but a game show on Star One. And going by the title it is a romantic game show. Starting 15th December, the new programme will be a game show of non-celebrity couples. Arguably, the most popular show host in telly town, Shonali Nagrani is back with a bang on Indian television after a successful track record of 5 shows. If sources are to be believed, she is back with a new show Salaam-e-Ishq on Star One.

"All couples will be given a task and they have to fulfill that in the stipulated time. It is a fun show and I had a blast shooting for it. In the show you will find couples who are married for 20 years and even those who are married for 1 year! We even have runaway couples on the show and I really enjoyed a lot hosting this show," explains a visibly-excited Shonali. Diversity is the main theme of the show which will have a wannabe singer and his wife and other couples from all walks of life. The celebrity quotient of the show is zero, apart from the judge -- Mahima Chaudhary. However, as Shonali says, "We will have celebrity guests from time to time." Salaam-e-Ishq is being produced by Tangerine. EVP content and Communications, Star India Ravikanth Menon couldn't be contacted for his comments. Ready for this one viewers?
