Ruby and I are trying to give another chance to our marriage: Amit Tandon

Amit Tandon
MUMBAI: There are very few personalities who strike a perfect balance between two professions, and one of them is the very talented actor and singer Amit Tandon.

Amit, who started his career as a finalist in Indian Idol and is known for his stint in shows like Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai, Dill Mill Gayye, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, and Ye Hai Mohabbatein, is currently focusing on his singing career.

In a chat with TellyChakkar, Amit shared, 'I have been part of the industry for a long time now and have done some good work on television. By God’s grace I have got good opportunity in my both the profession. However, I am now focusing on my music career and coming up with something exciting very soon. However, I will never leave TV. If something meaty comes my way, I will surely consider it. I am happy that I am one of those who have the opportunity to produce, sing, and act in same project. To sum up in one word, I consider myself a package.”

He added, 'What excites me is binge watching more of web content, and I would love explore that space. In TV, people would forget a particular scene, but web-series give a chance to viewers to watch that particular scene whenever they wish too.'

Recently, there were reports about Amit Tandon putting the decision of divorce on hold and reworking on his married life with wife Ruby. Hence, we asked Amit if he is giving a second chance to his marriage, to which he replied, 'Yes, Ruby and I we are working on our married life. We have a child with us and trying to put all our efforts to make it happen again. Ruby is a lovely woman. Call it karma or energies of the world, destiny has brought us back. We both have matured as people and see things differently now. We have genuine concern for each other and trying our best, and hopefully, things fall into place.'
