'Rumours' hit Star Plus' Veera

Yash Patnaik’s Ek Veer Ki Ardaas – Veera, the very popular show on Star Plus has been gaining eyeballs of late for the wrong reasons!! Guess the popularity of the show amongst the masses has attracted a lot of rumours. Recently, there has been a buzz about Kapil Nirmal quitting this Beyond Dreams show yet again. However, we get to hear that this is something that is untrue. For the uninitiated, Kapil who essays the role of Nihaal had earlier quit the show when it proceeded towards the big leap. Later, he was brought in with a crisp plot and his track with Ratan (Senha Wagh) was to be re-kindled. However, things have not worked out as it was planned. A reliable source reveals, “Actor Kapil Nirmal who plays the role of Nihaal has apparently been claiming that he has quit the show. But the fact is that his track has been terminated as his track did not work as per plans. He was roped in at a handsome price, but he had no star value to add to the show. This resulted in his track failing to engage the audience.” Also, yet another news that caught our eye is the one of Veera going off air this December. However, this again is not the correct information. On this, another source states, “Veera is doing well although vested interests are spreading the rumours repeatedly about it going off air. However, the fact remains that the show is stable and is expected to continue. Digangana Suryavanshi, Vishal Vashishtha, Farnaz Shetty and Shivin Narang have become very popular courtesy this show and there is a lot of story to be told.” We tried getting in touch with Kapi Nirmal, but did not get through to him. Also our efforts to confirm with the Producer of Veera, Yash Patnaik about rumours regarding Veera’s future remained futile. As of now, we can only say, ‘Stay on, play on’ for the Veera team!!
