Rushad Rana, the guy who anchors Filmi Fever on Zoom will now be seen as Karan in SaharaOne's Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon Ki. With a boy next door kind of a look, Rushad will play Karan, an NRI, who will fall head over heels in love with Rani, the protagonist of the show, played by Reena Kapoor. Talking about his character in the SaharaOne show, Rushad says, "Karan is a completely positive guy. He meets Rani at a party and falls in love at first sight. He is a strong guy and with encouragement from Rani's sister tries to woo her." Rushad has come a long way from his Hip Hip Hurray days, he now is not only an anchor and an actor on television, he has also has been part of films like Mohabattein, Joggers Park and Veer-Zaara and now, RGV's James and Mr and Miss. "Films are the ultimate destination of all actors. But you know for an actor medium is not important, good work is. I got to do a very well rounded character in Kehta Hai Dil and it was a blessing to play such a complex character," says Rushad, who wants to fine tune his acting abilities in order to get meaty roles. "I have to groom myself and frankly only then can I go out and ask for good roles,' says Rushad with a laugh.
