Sabri Brothers to perform in SAB TV's Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah

The residents of Gokuldham Society in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah will celebrate this year’s Eid with a scintillating performance by noted and famous Sabri Brothers. The Sabri Brothers ensemble Aftab Sabri and Hashim Sabri is known world-wide for their powerful, full throated qawwali that has enchanting subtlety and beauty. Dayaben, played by Disha Vakani, speaking about the celebrations said, “We thoroughly enjoyed the performance by Sabri Brothers. Listening to Sabri Brothers live was a dream come true for all of us. I would also like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a heartfelt Eid Mubarak on behalf of my family as well as the cast and crew of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.” Ustad Haji Sayeed Sabri speaking about their appearance on the show said, “On this pious occasion of Eid, we pray that this reel life affection among people extends into real life too. It was a lovely experience meeting all the artists of the show and performing there was a pleasure. We would like to wish all SAB TV viewers Eid Mubarak and hope that they enjoy the performance.” In the show Abdul, has planned to go to his home town to celebrate Eid with his family. While on his way to the railway station he spots a resident of Gokuldham hurt on the road and carries him to the society. Everybody praises Abdul, but in this whole process he ends up missing his train. Abdul is upset and dejected that he won’t be able to celebrate Eid with his family. Gokuldham residents, known for their brotherhood and affection for each other, come together and decide to ensure that Abdul does not miss his family on the day of Eid and arrange a performance of the Sabri Brothers to celebrate Eid with Abdul. The entire society will be lit up and decorated with flowers. Eid special will have Sabri Brothers croon to popular tracks like Hum ko toh loot liya milke husn walon ne, a romantic ghazal and other popular numbers. Men at Gokuldham will be dressed in pathani and women in shararas or salwar kameezh. The particular sequence will air on 21 August.
