While fans were mourning Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla's sudden demise, the shocking news of Sapna's death spread like wildfire on the Internet, with fans starting to offer condolences. The fake news of Sapna passing away in a road accident in Haryana's Sirsa was doing rounds on social media for the past few days. However, the reports turned out to be false.

The fake news circulated after it was reported that a dancer named Preeti died in a road accident on August 29. The girl was popularly known by the name 'Junior Sapna.' Soon, after the news of her death broke out, many confused her with Sapna Choudhary. As a result, many thought she passed away.
Was Sapna Choudhary shocked to read such things about her? She said to SpotboyE, “I have got used to such things because in this last 5-6 years a lot of time people have killed me. When first time something similar happened I was definitely stressed but now I don't even feel like reacting to such news. Ab to aisa lagne laga hai har saal mere death ki khabar aani hi hai. Kabhi accident mein maar dete hain, kabhi goli lag gayi aur kabhi kehte hain heart attack aa gaya. Like me, my family has also become used to such reports."
