Priyamani shares how she faced body shaming and racism.

MUMBAI: Priyamani was recently seen in Amazon Prime's The Family Man season 2. The actress played Manoj Bajpayee's wife Suchitra in the web series. 

Fans showered several praises for the actress for her stellar performance on the show. 

Well, Priyamani is already a well-known name in the South film industry.

The actress has appeared in several hit films like Chandee, Njangalude Veettile Athidhikal, Kathe Chitrakathe Nirdeshana Puttanna, Dhwaja among others. 

Priyamani has worked in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam films in her long career span. 

Well, just like any other celebrity, Priyamani has also tasted both love and hate from her fans.

In one of her recent interviews, the actress opened up about how she faced racism and was also body shamed. 

Body shamming is quite commonly faced by many actresses in various industries. 

Fans leave no chance to troll the celebrities for their appearances and end up posting disgraceful comments on their social media handles. 

Recollecting such moments, Priyamani said that she weighed 65 kgs and looked quite heavy. 

People have called Priyamani fat and also commented on her appearance. 

Some have commented on her pictures saying that she doesn't look good without makeup. 

Priyamani also remembers how people have commented on her complexion and called her dark. 

Well, this is a part and parcel of life and celebrities have now understood how to tackle such situations.
