Tellychakkar had exclusively reported about Shah Rukh Khan returning to TV with a new show on Star Plus titled TED Talks: Nayi soch.
Now, we exclusively bring to you that the show is slated to launch in September. It will be aired every Sunday at 9 PM ‘TED talks’ is already a popular franchise across the globe.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan’s reality drama Bigg Boss season 11 is also tentatively slated to start by either 17 or 24 September. While Salman will be shooting for its promo on July 30, King Khan would start the shoot for his program from August 19.
This would mean that for the first time ever on Indian TV both the Khans will come face to face but on different channels and would compete with each other. Earlier, in the realm of films when Salman Khan's Jaaneman and Shah Rukh Khan's Don clashed at the box-office Janeman couldn't bear the brunt and it suffered huge losses. However, Salman’s TV run has been quite successful. His show Bigg Boss has been doing great since 10 seasons and he is coming back this year as well to sizzle on the small screen.
On the contrary, keeping past records in mind, SRK’s magic has never really worked on TV screens. His previous TV shows KBC, Paanchvi Paas, Sab Se Shaana Kaun or Zor Ka Jhatka could not really garner TRPs or the audiences' support. Therefore, it would be interesting to see what the figures would look like now. One aspect worth keeping in mind in this context is that Bigg Boss is a daily show and the appearance of Salman Khan happens only on weekends! The show is aired 9 PM onwards only on Saturday and Sunday and Shah Rukh's Ted Talks: Nayi Soch will be aired every Sunday which means the clash between both the Khan's will happen when they'll come face to face on every Sunday.
