The reigning queen of Indian television, Sanaya Irani is nominated for her role of Khushi (Star Plus’ Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, 4 Lions Films), as the Best Actress in a Lead Role at the Twelfth Indian Telly Awards. Sanaya made her television debut in SAB TV’s Left Right Left. Her first role as a protagonist came in Star One's Miley Jab Hum Tum. Later she was seen in Star Plus’ all time favourite show Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon as Khushi opposite Barun Sobti. The role brought her both acknowledgment and she gained immense popularity.
