Sanjeev Kapoor denies reports of his cameo

Cameo appearances have become a rage in the Indian television industry. Big names are roped in for cameos either to help a sagging TRP or to add spice to a show that has reached a plateau. It was a coup of sorts when Smriti Z Irani was brought in to play a small part in Zee??€â„?s Teen Bahuraaniyaan airing today. The latest to join the bandwagon is the popular chef Sanjeev Kapoor. He is to be roped in by DJ??€â„?s Tony and Deeya Singh in their latest Annu Ki Ho Gayee Waah Bhai Waah. He will be seen helping out the protagonist Anu with her problems. ??€?“Sanjeev would play the role of a Godfather to Anu. He would help her deal with her problems and pressures that she would face in the restaurant,??€Â? informs Deeya. But Sanjeev is denying all such reports about him doing a cameo on Annu Ki Ho Gayee??€¦ and has refuted the news completely. Sanjeev quips, ??€?“Such offers come to me daily. I am not making any appearance on any such show.??€Â? Sanjeev was last seen on Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, a dance based reality show on Sony. Sanjeev started his television career as a host on Zee??€â„?s Khana Khazana and then he made a cameo appearance in Astitva, ek prem kahani. He also had a small role in the movie Monsoon Wedding. With Deeya Singh even reconfirming the news and Sanjeev denying the reports leave us completely fazed. Only time will tell.
