Indeed they were the best days of anyone’s life. We had our set of favourite teachers and subjects. Now we decided to talk to some of the TV actors and ask them if they become a teacher then which subject would they teach…Here’s what they said… Shilpa Anand the cute actress who gained fame as Dill Mill Gaye on Star One said, “Well, if I have to be a teacher, I will teach Science, especially Botany as it was my favourite subject when I was in school. I would be a moderate teacher, neither too strict and nor too lenient. I would be friend my students as I feel that the teacher-student relationship is the best thing.” Averred Ashish Kapoor, seen as Saahil in Love Marriage Ya Arrange Marriage on Sony Entertainment Television, “I would love to be either a sports or a drawing teacher. Sports has always been very close to my heart. I would teach my students how to stay healthy and fit. I wish to teach kindergarten kids as I love kids a lot. I love drawing too and teaching small kids to draw would indeed be a matter of joy for me.” Ragini Khanna, the co-host of the ongoing dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa on Colors shared, “I would love to teach ‘Value Education’ as a subject and in that I would like to teach on the topic of Humanity. That is what is lacking in today’s time. I would be a moderate teacher but at times, strict too." Opined Karan Wahi, one of the contestants of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa , “I want to be a sports teacher which in school, we call a PT teacher. Nowadays, students feel that sports education is all about games, but there’s much more to that. I want to teach them the theoretical aspect of sports as well. Even during my school days, I attended all the sports classes and was very active in extracurricular activities.” Observed Shritama Mukherjee, who was seen as Jaynandani in Dekha Ek Khwaab on Sony Entertainment Television, “I would love to teach Science and English as these are still my favourite subjects. I would like to teach in the secondary section though the primary section would also be good. And importantly, I would love to teach the physically/mentally crippled children so that I can contribute something to the society.” Sana Sheikh, who was last seen in Pratigya on Star Plus is of the view that as a teacher, she would love to teach Value Education /Moral Science. Reason? When one grows up, he/she tends to forget other subjects, but not Value Education. “I would like to teach school students as for me, school is where we get our basic education,” she concluded. So here you go…now share which is the subject you guys would like to teach. Go to the comments section and share your views… Happy Teacher’s Day!!!
