Shaan and Rituraj Mohanty pay a soulful tribute to the COVID Warriors on Zee TV’s Indian Pro Music League

MUMBAI: Zee TV has been a pioneer and a trend-setter in shaping television content over the past three decades and once again, it seems to be changing the face of music reality shows with its latest non-fiction property, the Indian Pro Music League (IPML). While the world of sports has seen several league competitions, this unique music league has six teams representing different regions of India, battling it out against each other in a musical championship. After some interesting matches in the fourth innings, this weekend we will see Bengal Tigers and Delhi Jammers battle it out against each other.

While the competition will heat up with both the teams putting their best foot forward, it will be team Bengal Tigers who will steal everyone's hearts with a very special and unique performance. During the shoot of the league match, captain of Bengal Tigers, Shaan and reality star, Rituraj Mohanty paid a soulful tribute to the Covid Warriors, who've been working round the clock to help others in this battle against the pandemic. They sang Noor-e-Khuda and through the song, they attempted to request the almighty to end the pandemic and everyone's suffering. Their mesmerising act made everyone on the set stand up and salute the COVID warriors and survivors!

After the performance, captain of Bengal Tigers - Shaan mentioned, “I would like to thank all the front-line workers, the COVID Warriors who have been putting their lives at risk to help others in this pandemic. On behalf of my team, and in fact everyone on this show, I would like to pray to almighty to end this pandemic and help us and everyone out there who has been suffering. I really hope that this pandemic gets over soon.”
With the COVID Warriors continuing to work day and night as the pandemic continues, this special tribute is worth watching! Also, you cannot miss out on the musical battle between Bengal Tigers and Delhi Jammers as they go all out to win the league match.

To witness such soulful performances and much more, tune into the Indian Pro Music League, every Saturday and Sunday at 8 pm, only on Zee TV
