Shahab Khan and Ranjan Sehgal in Shobhna Desai's next for Life OK

Shobhna Desai Productions as we know, will be coming up with a fiction show for Life OK, tentatively titled Kalyug. The concept will be of that of a set of people living in a ‘nukkad’, who would perform ‘Ramleela’ on stage for their bread and butter.                                         

Tellychakkar.com has already reported exclusively about Jatin Sharma and Vinti Idnani playing lead roles in it. 

We now hear of two popular names, Shahab Khan, known for his portrayal as father to Pratigya in Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya, and Ranjan Sehgal, seen in Rishton Se Badi Pratha being roped in for prime roles. 

As per a reliable source, “The pilot shoot for the show will happen soon. As of now, the casting process is on, and a few actors are being finalized.”

When contacted, Shahab Khan who is presently seen in Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi told us, “Yes, I have been in talks for the show. But I have not heard from them for some time now. So I am not clear about the status right now.”

Ranjan Sehgal refused to comment.                  

For the uninitiated, Shobhna Desai has earlier given shows like Ek Mahal Ho Sapnon Ka, Humari Devrani, Mukti Bandhan.
