MUMBAI: The country is dealing with a crisis because of the deadly Coronavirus. To deal with the situation, citizens have been advised to stay at home for a certain time period.
Now, Mukesh Khanna, who is known for the classic TV series Shaktimaan, has appealed fans to stay at home and follow protocol during Coronavirus lockdown.
Speaking about Shaktimaan, it was India’s first-ever superhero drama, that the ‘90s kids binged on. Now, the all-time favorite show is set to return on our television screens as Shaktimaan will be re-telecast on DD National. This is going to be an absolute treat to watch amidst the 21-day lockdown and fans of the show are already excited. Shaktimaan gave social messages at the end of each episode. Similarly, he now has another message for all of his fans.
Several celebrities are sharing videos urging their fans to stay indoors and not step out of their homes amid the lockdown. In the video, Mukesh Khanna appeals to his fans and says that youngsters thinking that they might have a good immunity system, need to know that they could help in the transmission of the virus if they go out. He then stresses the importance of staying indoors, and also pointed out all the things people can do while at home such as helping family members out with the chores, helping kids with their projects, reading books and even exercising. He added that it was his humble request, not just as Mukesh Khanna but also as Shaktimaan to please stay indoors and wait until further instructions so as to fight coronavirus.
