Shakuntalam Telefilms all set to launch a new show on Colors

Shakuntalam Telefilms, helmed by Shyamasis Bhattacharya and his better half Neelima Bajpai, over the years have churned out some fantastic gripping shows on Indian television (Reth, Laado, Love Ne Mila Di Jodi and many more). Currently, the production house is entertaining viewers via its presentation Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke on Zee TV. Tellychakkar.com has learnt that the creatives at Shakuntalam are busy with the launch of their upcoming project, a daily soap on Colors. The show has been commissioned and will go on floors from May end (2014). It will hit screens post IPL and in most probability will replace Uttaran (FilmFarm Productions). “It will be a regular concept which will have drama, fun etc. The star cast will be mostly freshers and casting is still on,” said a source. We buzzed Producer Shyamasis but he remained unavailable. We also texted a channel spokesperson but did not get any response till the time of filing the article.
