Shantanu Maheshwari in MTV’s Girls on Top?

The young sensation of television, Shantanu Maheshwari of Dil Dosti Dance fame will be back soon to entertain his fans. Tellychakkar.com has kept its viewers updated with MTV’s upcoming youth show Girls on Top produced by BBC. Now we have information that the makers have approached Shantanu to play one of the leads. We had earlier reported about television actor Nakul Sahdev roped in to play the role of Sahir. But now he has been replaced by the channel due to some issues. The makers are now keen on having Shantanu on board to portray the role of a musician. When we buzzed Nakul he confirmed not being part of the project owing to some personal reasons. We also called Shantanu, who said, “Yes, I am in talks with the makers, but there is no confirmation yet.” The show also features Yuvraj Thakur, Fenil Umrigar, Arjun Singh, newbies Saloni Chopra and Ayesha Adlakha. Girls on Top is slated to air from first week of January (2016).
