Sharman Joshi to make digital debut with ALTBalaji’s next?

MUMBAI: Indian film and theatre actor Sharman Joshi might soon make his digital debut. TellyChakkar has exclusive information that the 39-year-old might join the bandwagon of movie actors who are going the digital way.

TV actress Bhairavi Raichura, who also dons the hat of a producer, is working on a show under her production house 24 Frames Media. For the untitled project, the makers are planning to rope in the 3 Idiots actor.

'He will play the male lead,' a source informs us. Apparently, for the female lead, the makers are planning to rope in a Marathi actress.

'The show is currently in the scripting stage,' an informer tips. The mature love drama will be streamed on Ekta Kapoor’s digital platform ALTBalaji.

This will be Bhairavi's first project on the new medium. Earlier, the Balika Vadhu fame actress has produced shows like Laut Aao Trisha and Satrangi Sasural.

Meanwhile, Sharman has been quite busy with his movies. His upcoming list comprises of Kaashi in Search of Ganga and Bablu Bachelor. Apparently, Sharman has given his nod for the series but hasn’t signed the dotted line yet.

Sharman and Bhairavi remained unavailable for comment.

ALTBalaji is bringing all the big names, including Bollywood actors, under its umbrella. Movie actors like Vivek Oberoi, Karishma Kapoor, Manjot Singh, and Nimrat Kaur have been associated with the digital app.
