Shavez Khan in Star Plus’ Ek Hasina Thi

Smart and talented Shavez Khan, who has been seen in number of episodic roles in shows like CID and Crime Patrol along with a cameo performance in daily soap Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, will now be seen in the Star Plus show, Ek Hasina Thi. The current premise revolves around how the Goenkas and Thakurs plan to make Asia’s biggest Cancer Research Hospital. Shaurya (Vatsal Seth) is assigned the task of preparing a presentation for the same. The coming week will mark the entry of Shavez Khan as Nitin, a close friend of Shaurya who will help him with the presentations. Shaurya without the knowledge of his family will present it to his parents saying he has made the project. The episodes will further escalate to twists and turns in the show as Shaurya will face hardships in dealing with the presentations and office chores when Nitin will not be around. We contacted Shavez on being roped in the show. He said, “Well, it was a wonderful experience shooting for the cameo role. I took up this role because I have always essayed courtroom drama and negative shades; that of a criminal but nothing like this where I am positive and more expressive.
