Shivin Narang on taking his mother for Kitchen Champions: Have seen mom this happy after a long time

MUMBAI: Although Shivin Narang doesn’t know much about cooking, the actor recently made an appearance in cookery show Kitchen Champions and had an amazing time. Wondering how? Well, turns out the actor took his mom with him!

'It was really fun shooting for Kitchen Champions. As it was a cooking show, I was not very sure. But I took my mother with me, and we had an amazing time! I don't know anything about cooking, as I am really very pampered at home, so my mother managed the entire show.

What do you think about Shivin Narang ?

The concept is very cute. The children over there were amazing. My interaction with Arjun (Bijlani, host) also went very well. He is doing great work,' he says.

He adds, 'My experience of taking my mom to a show was beautiful, as it was the first time in any show that she has been with me. She has never even been with me for any of my shoots before, as I feel that what will she do there. But this time, more than me, it was her show. So, it was a very beautiful and proud moment for both of us. She really enjoyed herself, and we had fun. We even danced a little. I have seen her this happy after a long time.'

The actor met Ridhima Pandit there as well. 'Actually, Ridhima and I know each other from before she started her acting career. So, I was very comfortable with her. We had a lot of fun. I was accompanied by my mother and Ridhima was by her sister. I also learnt two to three things about cooking,' he says.
