MUMBAI: Shark Tank India has proven to viewers that it has something for everyone, whether it's boosting the entrepreneur or business building mindset, providing the perfect start-up crash course, nonstop social media conversations, viral quirky one-liners from the sharks, or even government social media handles joining the meme fest.
In every episode, it inspires business minds and entrepreneurs of the country by providing a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to present their innovative business ideas to achievers and kings of the start-up ecosystem aka the Sharks in order to receive the funding and support they require.
Anupam Mittal is one of the Sharks on the show who helps people in starting their businesses. He is the founder of People Group and is mainly known as the founder of Shaadi.com.
Currently, during an interview, he did talk about the criticism that the show received as it was compared to Shark Tank USA.

The businessman said, “The most common criticism that the show received was the comparison to Shark Tank USA. But why compare? When Kaun Banega Crorepati started, no one compared it to Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, then why compare Shark Tank India to Shark Tank USA. We are desi people and are filled with emotions, and that’s what we should stick to.”
Well, though the show got a thumbs-up from the audience, it also got a little criticism.
