MUMBAI: It was supposed to be a normal day on the sets of 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' yesterday until Mandar Chanwadkar (Bhide) called up to inform that he cannot report on the set. The senior actor got up with a severe cold and decided to play safe.
In a few minutes thereafter, Team Asit Modi (the show's producer) called off the shoot.
Raj Anadkat (Tappu) has been coming to shoot since the past few days only just at the exact time when his scene is ready- but he did not report yesterday either and not even today. A source says, "One doesn't know what's exactly wrong with his health. Maybe it's viral."
In March this year, Mandar had contracted COVID and was away from the proceedings for a fortnight.

Mandar however is back on the set from this afternoon and the shoot has limped back to some sort of normalcy. When contacted, Mandar reportedly said, "Yes, I was unwell," and claimed, "Actually all scenes were mine yesterday. There were Ganpati scenes that had to be shot. It didn't happen yesterday."
We wish Raj and Mandar a full and quick recovery.
