MUMBAI: Actors take up various TV shows on the basis of the characters they are offered. While some actors are extremely happy with the way their characters progress with time, some face issues with the roles. 

A lot of time actors have left the shows midway for various reasons. Be it having a creative difference with the makers, co-stars, not happy with the way their characters are shaping up or if they get a good opportunity in some other project. 

So, let's take a look at the actors who left the shows midway for several reasons.

Mohnish Bahl - Sanjivani 

Mohnish had left Sanjavani where he played the role of Dr Shashank Gupta. Talking about the same, the actor had told a leading web portal,  "I decided to opt-out and it was an amicable decision. I felt that I was not able to justify my role as Dr Shashank Gupta in the current season, as compared to the previous ones. I did not want to let down my viewers, so it was best to move on."

Sangita Ghosh - Divya Drishti

Sangita had quit Divya Drishti where she is seen as the antagonist Pishachini. The actress took this step due to creativity issues. Talking about the same, she told, "There is nothing much left to explore as far as my character is concerned. I realised that I can’t keep dragging on without any clarity.''

Aniruddh Dave - Patiala Babes 

He played the role of Hanuman Singh in Patiala Babes, was out of the show overnight. The actor said, “I believe that every show goes through a change after it reaches a saturation point. I am happy that my character Hanuman Singh was loved, as he was someone who believed in women’s equality and rights.”

Paridhi Sharma - Patiala Babes

Patiala Babes actress Paridhi Sharma role was axed overnight. Paridhi had said that she got to know at the last moment. The actress went on to say that she was anyways not satisfied with her role and would have quit the show herself.

Vivian D'Sena - Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki

Vivian made an exit from the show as it was going for a time leap. The actor did not want to play a father to a grown-up child.   

Eisha Singh - Ishq Subhan Allah 

Eisha who played the role of Zara in Ishq Subhan Allah, bid adieu to the show. A source said that Eisha had landed a plum film project and wanted a few days off to pursue it. She wanted to resume shooting for the show after completing the film but the makers did not agree to it.

Sonarika Bhadoraia - Ishq Mein Marjawan 

After Aalisha Panwar, actress Sonarika Bhadoria, who played the role of Netra Sharma in Ishq Mein Marjawan quit the show.  According to reports, Sonarika didn't feel ‘creatively satisfied’ with the developments on the show.  

Hunar Gandhi - Patiala Babes

Hunar Gandhi, who played Meeta in Patiala Babes, bid adieu to Patiala Babes as she was disappointed and did not want to play the role of mother on the show. But she was informed that the makers were planning to wrap her role as they will show Meeta (Hunar) will leave for London. The actress said that she was quite disappointed as she never wanted to quit.  

10. Parul Chauhan - Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

Parul Chauhan, who played the role of Swarna in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, quit the show. Apparently, she did not want to play a grandmother this early in her career.

Hina Khan - Kasauti Zindagi Kay 2

Hina Khan, who played the role of Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, had quit the show after a few weeks. Confirming the news in a live chat on Instagram, the actress had said that she has prior film commitments to fulfil and hence, will not be seen on Kasautii.  
 
Nidhi Bhanushali - Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma 

Nidhi Bhanushali, who essayed the role of Sonu Bhide in the show, quit the popular sitcom. Nidhi wanted to concentrate on her further studies. The actress, who was pursuing her BA from a college in Mumbai, wanted to devote her entire time to studies.
