Shraddha Arya the female protagonist of Shashi -Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt Ltd's recently concluded show for Life OK, Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki has taken the sudden ending of her show in her stride. Says Shraddha, "I had a great time working with superb co-stars (Sudeep Sahir, Aruna Irani and Anil Dhawan). I also learnt a lot about the craft of essaying two different characters (Lakshmi and Kaanchi).” Ask her if the show deserved to have a longer run and she says, “Yes… we could have gone on as we were quite popular, but then all these things are beyond our control.”

Looking ahead this Delhi born girl who has also done south films says, “I will continue to do small screen assignments. Ideally speaking, I would prefer roles which are similar to my modern outlook to life; but let’s face it, the dukhi aatma type characters sell more.” Compared to South, Shraddha is more comfortable in the Mumbai TV circuit for, "Firstly it is much more popular and secondly since I have shifted bag and baggage to the tinsel town, it is easier to come to work from home rather than living in a hotel during my south film schedules." Having said this, she would not mind returning to peninsular India as well. "If some good films come my way I will take it up.” In closing, Shraddha asserts that, "Young women should take a leaf out of her character Lakshmi’s book and never choose wealth over love. I sincerely believe that you find the right partner soon, as everything else will fall into place then.”
