Shubh Vivaah's opening episode to feature Lakhbir Singh Lakha

The creative heads of any show do not fail to go from strength to strength to assure maximum publicity for their series. And the same applies to Shubh Vivaah that goes on air on 27 February 2012 at 7.30pm on Sony Entertainment. In fact, the opening episode will have a religious angle to it. Singer Lakhbir Singh Lakha for a special performance in the opening episode of this UTV show. The renowned singer will pay a tribute to Mata Rani in a jagrata and will be joined by the cast, which will feature Rakesh Bedi and his five daughters including the lead actress Neha Janpandit and Neha Narang, Shafaq Naaz, Vinny Arora and Krutika Gaikwad. The series is a remake of Tamil series Metti Oli. Shubh Vivaah will also mark the comeback of Eijaz Khan, who was last seen doing a cameo in Bhaskar Bharti. The daily was in news due to the timeslot.
