MUMBAI: Actress Shweta Kataria is thrilled to be a part of Rahul Kumar Tewary’s new Zee TV show Jagadhatri, a powerful story that celebrates courage, truth, and womanhood. The show, which has already created buzz for its gripping storytelling and layered characters, features Shweta in the role of Pallavi, a complex, flawed, yet fascinating woman.

Talking about joining the show, Shweta says, “It feels absolutely incredible to be a part of Rahul Kumar Tewary’s new show Jagadhatri on Zee TV. The story is powerful, and the entire team, both on and off screen, has poured their heart into it. Working under Rahul sir’s vision is truly wonderful.”

When she first heard the story and about her role, Shweta was immediately intrigued. “When I heard about Jagadhatri and my character Pallavi, I was really excited. She’s greedy and selfish, very different from who I am, so I knew it would be fun and challenging to play her,” she smiles.

Shweta believes that Jagadhatri stands out from other television dramas because of its emotional depth and strong message. “It’s not just about drama, it’s about emotions, values, and the strength of a woman who faces every challenge with courage,” she explains.

Elaborating on her character, she shares, “Pallavi is greedy and selfish but also very real. What drew me to her is that she’s not perfect. She has many shades. Showing that mix of emotions on screen was something I really wanted to explore.”

To prepare for the role, Shweta put in detailed groundwork. “I tried to understand Pallavi’s mindset and why she behaves the way she does. I observed people with similar traits, practiced her expressions and body language, and made sure her attitude came across naturally on screen,” she says.

The actress also expresses how much she’s enjoying being on set. “It’s been really great! Everyone is so friendly and hardworking. We all get along well, and it’s been such a positive and fun experience so far,” she adds.

For Shweta, working under Rahul Kumar Tewary’s banner has been creatively fulfilling. “It’s amazing working under Rahul sir’s vision. He’s very creative and clear about what he wants, but also gives everyone the space to bring their own ideas,” she shares appreciatively.

She feels that the audience will deeply connect with the show’s themes. “Jagadhatri deals with emotions and situations that many people can relate to, like family, love, and personal struggles. I think viewers will see parts of their own lives in the story, which makes it engaging and relatable,” she explains.

Promising more surprises ahead, Shweta teases, “The audience can look forward to more drama, twists, and intense emotions. There will be surprising developments in the story and deeper insights into the characters, keeping everyone eager to see what happens next.”

She concludes on a hopeful note: “Jagadhatri will leave the audience feeling inspired and strong. It shows that courage and truth always win.”
Jagadhatri airs on Zee TV, produced by Rahul Kumar Tewary, and stars Farman Haider, Sonakshi Batra, Sayantani Ghosh, Vishwapreet Kaur, Hitanshu Jinsi, and Shweta Kataria in pivotal roles.
