They have been going around for three years now.
Finally, the couple has decided to tie the knot. Shweta Kawaatra and Manav Gohil have decided to become man and wife on Christmas Day this year.
The wedding will take place in Mumbai. Shweta's parents live in Delhi; Manav's parents reside in Baroda. "We think Mumbai will be midway for both the families. The wedding will be a small and quiet affair, followed by a grand reception party the next day. We are working out the details," says a beaming Manav.

Shweta's parents who were initially against the match have finally come to terms that their daughter has not made the wrong choice. "In a sense, both of us have already changed for each other. There were a few things she didn't like about me and vice versa. We can't stay without each other anymore. So we just decided to get married. Anyway, we knew we wouldn't prolong the marriage plans beyond 2004."
We have it on authority that the two have already started scouting for their wedding dresses and accessories, and that Shweta intends to do most of her shopping in Delhi, which in her opinion, offers much more variety than her adopted home Mumbai!
Going back, did it all begin when they first set their eyes on each other on the sets of Ekta Kapoor's Kahaani...? "No," says Manav, "In fact, I was out of Kahaani... when we first started feeling the vibes for each other. To begin with, we were only friends. I remember us chatting till the wee hours of the morning on certain occasions, without realising how time had rolled by. The rest, as they say, is history."
Plans to start a family soon, we ask cheekily? "No yaar," he says, "Shweta needs to work a little more. I need to establish myself too," he signs off.
We wish the sweet couple a happy married life... in advance.
