Smriti Irani to enter Teen Bahuraaniyan

Smriti Irani has stepped into new territory again. After appearing on Sony and 9X, the soap queen will now be making her debut on Zee TV. Smriti will be seen in Teen Bahuraaniyan. Speaking on her entry, Smriti says, "I am an avid viewer of Paresh Rawal's show. So when the role was offered, I jumped at it. This character has a lot of dimensions to it and is pivotal to the plot." Smriti comes as 'Vrinda massi' and she will walk in as a saviour to the three leading ladies. A situation arises wherein the Maharanis have created a divide between the three Bahuraanis. She is as righteous as Tulsi or Sita, and as clever and political as Krishna! Vrinda prompts the Bahuranis to fight for their right and happiness. Her entry is a big move for Playtime Creations and Zee TV since till date Smriti's name had become synonymous with Star Plus's show. Other than that, Smriti is also seen in her home production Virrudh. Her move on Zee TV reinforces the belief that it is not the character that makes the show but the show that redefines the character.
