Sonu Sood is a known name when it comes to his work on the big screen. And the actor who has been around for many years now, credits his long career to the high levels of fitness and good physique that he maintains.
I (Amit Sadh) as Guest Editor at Tellychakkar.com decided to get some fitness tips from my good friend and mentor, Sonu Sood.
Talking about his strict regime when it comes to fitness, Sonu Sood averred, “There is no shortcut to fitness, and one needs to maintain a strict regime to have a good body. I have been in this industry for 19 years now, and my body falls into shape automatically as I have always been working towards it.”
He went on, “Protein shakes can be taken in moderation as it causes no harm to our body. I also believe that doing things in a hurry will only harm our body both internally and externally. One should learn to put in hard work, maintain a strict diet and exercise, depending on the individual body structure.”
On his routine, he shared, “I don’t attend parties much as I am not a party animal. Even if I attend dos, I don’t drink and I am a pure vegetarian. Before I go for my long day’s shoot, I prefer to work out in the gym in the morning. That’s now become a routine as I feel incomplete if I do not work out.”
When it comes to food, Sonu has his own likes and dislikes. “My favorite dish is Punjabi food; I love those spicy delicacies. I have stopped eating roadside food. But during my college days, I used to eat quite a lot of the road side samosa. I do cook aloo parathas when I get time.”
