Shaina's NC's charity fashion event at NSCI in Worli that had the Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis in attendance as the chief guest resulted in utter chaos with the Mumbai police blocking roads and vehicles to allow smooth passage for the CM's convoy.

Even NSCI members were denied entry into the posh club due to the VVIP's presence inside which led to vociferous protests outside NSCI. What was even more worse is the long pile of vehicles that had assembled between Prabhadevi and Worli resulting in a mother of all jams. While it takes not more than 20 minutes to reach NSCI from Dadar station, Team Tellychakkar who was on its way to cover the event ended up spending a good hour and a half stuck in the middle of nowhere in the traffic mess. Ultimately we decided to sprint on our legs to make it on time.

But looks like we were not alone. Stuck in the jam was Sophie Choudry (Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa). Sophie who was slated to walk the ramp as one of Shaina's guest was in her car with her mom, hairstylist and driver in tow. With the Mumbai traffic showing no signs of easing up and Sophie losing precious time, the brave girl decided to beat the traffic in her own way.

Flinging her car door open, she flagged down a random bike rider (who must have been starstruck, we are positive) and requested him if he could lend her his bike while offering him her own chauffeur driven luxury car in lieu. Without blinking, the biker got off and took his seat next to Sophie's mother in her car while Sophie rode pillion with her hairstylist.

With the help of some fast and smart driving by her hairstylist, the siren with hair curls adorning her head managed to reach the venue breathless but just in the nick of time. Sophie later walked the ramp with great élan.

Confirming the episode to us later, Sophie said, "I literally had to steal the bike. I am thankful to the biker who lend me his bike. This is the true spirit of Mumbaikars helping others in need."

Well, we are sure the biker must have got the tale of his life to regale his folks back home.
