Star Bharat’s Sufiyana Pyaar Mera to go off air

MUMBAI: Star Bharat’s drama Sufiyana Pyaar Mera, produced by LSD Films, will soon go off air.

TellyChakkar has learned that the channel is pulling the plug on the show due to low ratings, and it is expected to shut shop by November.

The show, which features Helly Shah, Rajveer Singh, and Vijendra Kumeria in the lead roles, is expected is wrap-up the shoot by end of this month.

Sufiyana Pyaar Mera launched with much pomp and show. However, in spite of a great storyline, it didn’t manage to grab more eyeballs.

Well, every show comes with an expiry date, and it’s time to say goodbye to Sufiyana Pyaar Mera.

When contacted Helly, she confirmed and shared, 'Yes, we were informed yesterday itself. We feel bad, but the show must go on. I am happy that a show like Sufiyana Pyaar Mera came my way. It was challenging for me to play a double role, but it gave me a different experience and exposure.'
