MUMBAI: Actress Anupama Solanki is elated as her show Nath Krishna aur Gauri Ki Kahani has completed 700 episodes. Sharing her joy with us she says, “I don’t have words for this. It is a great achievement for me and our production house Story Square. It is not easy to complete 700 episodes. It means we have also completed 2 years on Dangal TV and at number 1. I am extremely happy to be a part of this show. These days, TV shows are shutting down in 3 to 4 months but we completed 700 episodes that’s a huge achievement. Every production member is so energetic, especially our producers, who are always excited about our show. Generally, people become slow after some time, but we are all full of energy. I never imagined that I would get so much popularity from the Dangal TV show. I have done shows on all the other prime channels Star Plus, Sony TV, &TV, Zee TV, etc., but the fame I have received from "Nath Krishna Aur Gauri ki Kahani" is incredible.”
She also adds, "Generally, people think it’s Dangal TV, but Dangal channel's performance is better than any other prime channels. I am so glad that I am playing lots of shades in this show. Which started with a vamp, mixed with comedy and a grey shade. and sometimes playing the Radha (positive) character in this show. What else does an actor need? Four years of hard work have paid off. At this point of time I am very thankful.”
Anupama also shares how her first 3 months were tough in Nath Krishna aur Gauri Ki Kahani. "It was very challenging. As I have mentioned that I have played layers of shades in my show, It was like 3 in 1, but my favorite track was when I was playing Radha. The Krishna-Radha track was short, but it was my favorite chunk because after playing lots of negative shades, I got the chance to play a positive role. In this show, I discovered my strengths and abilities.”
Anupama’s co-star Chahat Pandey has left the show and Anupama misses that bonding with her.
“Chahat Pandey and I have known each other since day one when we both came to Mumbai. We are good friends. It was a godsend that we both started our acting journey together, and today we are on the same show. Unfortunately, she is leaving the show to join a political party. Somewhere I am sad that she is leaving the show, and somewhere I am happy that she is taking such a big step in life. Sometimes we can't express our love to someone we care about, but my good wishes are always with her and I only wish her good luck. Fortunately, everyone on our team is great, but my best buddies on set are Nitin Babu (Abhimanyu), Alisha Panwar (Gauri), Arjun Dalal (Jeet), Pratima Kanan Mam (Dadi), Ajay Singh Choudhary (Sukant), and Vicky Ahuja (Raghvendra). We all work together on set and enjoy it a lot. This type of team is hard to find in any show.”
