MUMBAI: TellyChakkar is back with an interesting update from the world of television.

The show has been impressing the audience with its commendable content and storytelling technique. While it was labelled an underdog with a relatively new actress being roped in to play the titular role, it shone and how! It has claimed its position almost every week in the BARC charts.

Imlie is the remake of a Bengoli serial titled Ishti Kutum. An attempt was made to adapt it for the mainstream Hindi-speaking audience with the Star Plus show ‘Mohi'. However, it failed to make a mark and was axed. Gul Khan of 4 Lions Productions took the challenge and promised to deliver a show that would connect with viewers. The renowned producer has been successful in the same, as now, Imlie has captivated the hearts and minds of the audience.

The show has a stellar star cast including Sumbul Touqeer Khan, Gashmeer Mahajani, Mayuri Deshmukh, Ritu Chaudhry, Astha Agarwal, Preet Kaur, and Jyoti Gauba among others.

Sumbul shared a fan edit on the show completing 100 episodes on her social media account.
