TAM Ratings for Week 28 (15 to 21 July 2012) - Sony Entertainment Television takes Number 2 spot

It’s Wednesday yet again, and as usual the TV industry wakes up to check out the results of the week gone by. And it is Star Plus which again takes the #1 position (even with a drop of more than 20 GRPs) with 254 GRP when compared to 276 last week. Sony Entertainment Television takes a big leap ahead and takes the 2nd position with a GRP of 228 while Zee TV gets pushed to the 3rd position with a GRP of 221 (they too see a drop from 253 last week). Colors gets pegged back to the fourth spot with 214 GRP. Diya Aur Baati Hum continues the dominance as the #1 show across all channels with a TVR of 5.8. Bade Achhe Lagte Hain which took a leap recently has jumped up the TRP chart to be the Number 2 show with a rating of 4.2 TVR. Many consistent shows like Balika Vadhu, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hain, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, Punar Vivah, amongst others, see a drop in ratings this week. However, Amrit Manthan which was rumoured to be under the scanner has picked up in ratings to become the #2 show on Life OK with a rating of 1.2. Under the non-fiction category, DID L’il Masters and Fear Files top the list.
