TAM ratings for week 31 (29 July to 4 August)

Folks…the race amongst channels and shows to stay on the top in the TRP chart continues this week. However, there will always be a doubtful eye on the results given the recent development of NDTV suing TAM, Nielsen for manipulation of data. Anyways, let’s get down to the figures. Star Plus maintains to stay at the #1 spot with 234 GRPs. Sony Entertainment Television which was perched at the #2 position since the last two weeks, slumped to the third place this week (206). Zee TV is currently placed at number #2 (211). Colors holds the number four position on the TRP ladder (203). When it comes to shows, Diya Aur Baati Hum (Star Plus) stands tall as the #1 show across GECs with 5.2 TVR. Bade Achhe Lagte Hain (Sony Entertainment Television) continues to be the second most watched show with its 3.7 average TVR. Balika Vadhu on Colors (3.5) is at number 3, while the long running show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus (3.3) is at number 4 position on the TRP chart.
